A few good men

Hey all- yep my many readers ;) heh... I have been doing several bits of research lately and as I seem to redesign each area of my focus, there are more and more issues that seem to need resolving... proving the idea that design is never really done- BUT we hold fast and hold on for the hope that we will get to a stage that we will get there rite!
I have been looking at the artists from the past and decided to hopefully inspire my readers with a bit of "a few good men"...

The first of the two men- marcel Wanders... I absolutely love this man as he makes all that is normal seem so undesirable! I love his use of scaled proportions and last but not least- the fun and almost young element that he brings in each time he creates a product or design... Making all seem like it needs to be approached in a new way, rather than the old- but hey! dont trust me, check it out for u!

The second one that I had encountered in the years past, but excused as architect (wink) is Santiago Calatrava... Working on a whole new level, which has been more appreciated after the adventures of last semesters landscape, Calatrava strives to challenge architecture and the standard use of materials. His creations are stunning and all have an effortless visual quality, making the buildings look less like just functional shelters but works of art- as cliche as that does sound...

Well- I hope that these 'few good men' inspire you to do great and amazing things because no matter what- in this business nothing is impossible if u truly believe.. (and yes, i do think this quote is from jiminy cricket line heh)
With these vast words of wisdom, I say tata! xo

I would love to know if you all (my 9 avid ;) followers would like to see some additional touches to the site- ask and we can work on it!

So starting off a new semester, a fresh, i would love to leave you with this quote, it made me smirk- take that as you want hehe...
“Oh, I love hugging. I wish I was an octopus, so I could hug 10 people at a time!” - Drew Barrymore...
Now for those of us who are in the Interior Design course- we are thinking: "Ok, great 10 arms.. YES, more arms for more computers, more pens in hand and more done in a day! ;)
